This Blessed House

The story starts out with the homeowners finding christ-like artifacts in the house.
Among the artifacts is : a white procelain effigy of christ, a poster of christ crying, plaster of the virgin mary on the lawn, 3-d postcard of saint francis in four colors in the back of the medicine cabinet, a wodden cross key chain in twinkle's study, a frame paint-by-number of the three wise men in the linen closet, a tile trivet of a blonde, unbeard jesus delivering a sermon on a mountaintop in one of the drawers of the built in china cabinet in the dining room, a small plastic snow-filled dome containing a miniture nativity scene found behind the pipes of the kitchen sink, switch plates in the bedrooms decorated with scenes from the bible, salt and pepper shaker designed to resemble mary and joseph, and a solid silver bust of christ .

These items are the center of the theme for this story. Twinkle is fascinated by these items.
You would not find these items in a hindus family household. The narrator has introduced these items to an audience of the Hindus culture.

Sanjeev is characterized percisely for a modern day Hindus. He does not like the christian artifacts. He is married to a woman which he does not know very much about, in otherwise a chosen bride, which is common for a Hindus people.

Twinkle is characterized as a person that wants to explore and see what else there is in life for her. That is why she is so fascinated by the christian artifacts. Cause she certainly does not act like the typical christian woman.

Now I come to the plot of the story. After the both of them have found these items in the home, which he hates. The build up is when the two gives a housewarming party for friends and associates to come over. Twinkle tells the guests about all the items she has found in the home, and they want to be involved in finding more items.

This story has excitement and keeps the interests, because who thought that they would exactly find another item in the house.

And the ending of the story, everyone has a good time. The treasure hunt was the highlight of the house warming, and everyone goes home.

In the story Sanjeev is the protagonist, and Twinkle is the antagonist. Twinkle is a round character, and Sanjee is a flat character. Douglas and Nora are used as foils in the story.
